My object is a Baby Jesus statue. It is from Mexico and it is used for holidays. I have a friend named Karen and I used to go to her aunt's house and celebrate el día de los niños. 
It is small maybe the size of your hand. It represents stories from the bible and is important to the Mexican culture. We often use the statue for celebrations, where we pray, dance and sing. In Mexico, you can buy these statues on most street corner markets.  It teaches me that my religion is important to my culture and to the people of Mexico.
