My object is a brochure from a ski resort in Garmisch, Germany. It is the first volume, NO. 58. It is made from paper and is used to show tourists what activities would be going on, when, and where. My grandfather was in Germany after WWII and he went to this resort during his off time. He wanted to go skiing but there was no snow on the mountains. The resort is close to a place called Hitler’s Eagle Nest. This brochure was made on Friday, November 27, 1953. My grandfather had it in a photo album of his trips, and stuff he did in the army.
