When I first came to the United States in 2023, the first thing I got was a pair of AirPods, which my grandma bought for me as a gift. They were clean and white and smelled like a brand new phone. Before my grandma bought those AirPods for me, I had never had a pair before. So the first time I used them, it felt incredible; the white buds whispered the sweet sound of music into my ears. The idea of being able to privately listen to whatever I wanted made me incredibly satisfied. It felt as if I were in a world of my own for a year. I used my AirPods regularly, connecting with people through the shared love of music
