Acrylic Nails are very important to black young females, Women, even some Gay men . You might be thinking “Don't all females love nails?” But in this case i'm talking about how it has had an impact on my life and other black females. I Found out about nails when I was 8, that's when I started seeing young girls get them and I wanted them so much. I begged and begged my mom and she always said “you’re too young” “that’s too grown” blah blah blah like all black parents say. Until I was 10 going to the 6th grade and i was able to get them. I rocked the neon green color, coffin shaped, with a little bit of glitter. Ever since then nails have been my thing. Short to long, basic to all out. Nails has migrated all over the world and has became a piece of our culture.
