My object is ackee and saltfish, an old recipe from Jamaica and West Africa and it is supposed to be Eaten. Everyone in my family eats it, others eat it as well. It's made out of ackee (Which is a tropical fruit) and saltfish. I chose this artifact because it has been passed down from my ancestors to my parents. This food was connected to my grandmother emelia, she immigrated to America in 2010.I wonder how many generations it's been passed down to. In conclusion, I think this dish is the best object i ever could’ve chosen.
