This is my painting. This painting is really important to me because it represents the place in which I grew up and explains my lifestyle in one. This painting was painted by me, to show where my family comes from, and the conditions in which my family and I had to live upon. I will always be grateful and proud of my heritage and this painting I drew. This painting was actually a art assignment assigned to me in the 8th grade. I remember the teacher stated," draw something you love or that your proud of" and I immediately thought of this. I finished this painting in about 3 weeks and everyone loved it. As soon as I took my painting home, and hung it up on my wall, everyone has complimented me since. I'll always get things like, “wow, you painted that” or “ that's really nice” . The painting itself came out better than expected, and ive loved it ever since. Although, this object may not have been passed down from many generations or given to me, it's just as special to me, as those mentioned. The painting itself, has a huge meaning to me, that no one will really understand. This painting is a summary of who I am and where I come from. A painting that I dearly care about and will adore for the rest of my life. This is my object and its importance to me.
