A cross

My Story
The object that I chose was a cross my grandmother gave me before she moved back to Mexico. This cross was made in Mexico and was given to my grandmother by her mother. My family and I used the cross as decoration and to pray on special occasions. The cross has been in my family for a very long time and it is something we’ll pass down for generations to come. The cross is symbolic and reminds us of the struggles my family had to overcome to provide me and my siblings a better future. The cross is used to pray and to celebrate on holidays and other cultural celebrations.
