My grandmother grew up in Greece, then she moved to Lowell and raised my mother, aunt and uncle. My father grew up in Thailand, then moved to Lowell where he met my mother at LHS. This is a cup my aunt gave me when she graduated Lowell High School in 1996. This is important to me because it’s a memory that she shares with me, knowing that I myself attend Lowell High School along with the rest of my family. This is something that I don’t take the time to think about, my family are past generations of LHS graduates which is special to me because we all have this similarity in common. Although Lowell isn’t where we were all born, it’s the same place  where we all grew up and adapted to. Although I may not like it sometimes, I’m proud to say that Lowell is our home, and it always will be. It’s a place where we can all look back at, cherish and hold on to forever. It’s a place not only part of me, but my family as well.
