15 Ring
So about a year and a half ago my grandma gave me a ring for my 15th birthday. The ring is gold with a 15 in the middle surrounded by a heart with a crystalish detail on the side . My grandma gave it to me when she was diagnosed with cancer. She didn't think she would make it to my 15th birthday so she gave it to me half a year earlier. My grandma is still alive today which makes me very happy. This ring means alot to me because it would have been the only item I had left to remind me of her. It also identifies my culture because in Mexican families when girls turn 15 they become a woman, so they get a huge party thrown for them and also get jewelry to remind them of their special day. I was supposed to receive that ring on my birthday but got it a little bit earlier.
