Roti is a flat bread mostly from southeast asian countries, like India. You can make roti by mixing flour with water with a bit of salt and then let it sit for a while. Then, you fry it and put vegetable oil on both sides.
Roti is important to my family because before my parents came to America, they ate it in Guyana. My dad immigrated here around 1973 and when my mother came here is not known. They brought the recipe for roti here to America, and now I eat it on a daily basis. I feel passionate about roti because it is delicious!I hope others will try roti because it is amazing.
I wonder how long my family have been eating roti for. I also wonder why my family eats roti. I hope those questions will be answered as I progress in life. :)
