The red necklace was a gift from my mother when I first traveled to the University of New Mexico from Ecuador, and it was for my birthday. This necklace is very important for me because it represents my culture and my clothing. Also, the necklace is even more special because my grandmother and mother made it, and they expressed their love for me.
