This collage shows the voyage of my great great grandfather, and his musical journey. He came from Germany. He came through Ellis Island and settled in Queens, New York. He came to America for the World Fair. He later joined the Boston Symphony Orchestra where he became the first trumpet player. Gustav Heim is very special to me because I love music and everything about it. I’ve finally found where my love of music comes from!
