The story of my object begins in Norway. Although these objects were not from there, my great-grandmother did immigrate to the United States from Norway in 1930. Her family all came over on a ship and landed in New York, soon after moving to New Jersey. That is where my great-grandmother would live for the rest of her life, and where she would do the things that make me admire her. She was a very selfless person and would often volunteer for different organizations. I hope to one day be as amazing of a person as her, and wearing these rings helps me feel more connected to her and motivates me to be like her.
