This is an enlarged photocopy of a letter that was sent to my great-great-great-Grandfather William H. Perry, from his nephew, Jerome Perry, in 1909. The letter confirms that William's great-Grandfather Henry Perry moved to the United States from Wales in 1803. It details how Henry and his son, Robert established their lives in America in the state of Ohio. The letter also shows that my family has been living in St. Joseph county, Michigan since at least the beginning of the 1900s.

This letter comes from a large, bound booklet of photocopies of old family photographs, obituaries, and handwritten biographical information. Most of the photographs are of my great-great-Grandfather Pearl Park Perry and his family in the late 1800s and early 1900s. This booklet is interesting for me to have because I am able to easily trace back my lineage on my paternal-grandmother's side. I am also quite fond of old studio portraits and this booklet holds a great collection of them.
