Haitian Beef Patties  To make delicious patties you need to:

• Add 1lb of ground beef cooked well done
• 1small onion diced 
• ½ scotch bonnet pepper diced, 
• 1 tomato can paste 
• Adobo seasoning (to your liking)
• Olive oil, 
• 1 egg, 
• ¼ cup water, 
• 2 sheets of  puff pastry (farm fresh)
• ¼ cup of Haitian seasoning base 
• 1 tbs vinegar 

My family makes Haitian beef patties for special occasions. Occasions such as: Birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgivings, Communions, and any other special event. I look forward to eating these tasty treats because they remind me of Haiti. My mother’s mother, my grandmother is Haitian and she is very proud of her roots. So, is my mother and so am I too.
