Griddle/ComalA Griddle or comal in spanish in our culture is mostly used to heat up tortillas which for us goes with mostly anything we eat. Everyone in my family and mostly every mexican family i know to this day has some sort of Griddle/comal in there household they come in different shapes and sizes. Well my object came from mexico its been in the family for a while as long as i can remember. I was a little boy when i learned about the object because i remember always having one at our disposal and the more i looked at and what it was used for i learned more and more about it. I choose this object because it represents that even though my parent immigrated to this country for us there children they still found a way to incorporate a piece of their culture into our lives so we could understand that they lived a hard life and nothing was easy in mexico. This object makes me feel at home in any home that has this because it such a important object to the mexican culture.
