This locket was given to me by my father one day before coming to New York. I immigrated from Nepal. This locket reminds me of the day before I came to New York. The day before I came to New York I had a lot of fun with my friends and relatives. That day, I went to see my great grandmother. After sometimes, I left and went with my friends. I had a lot of fun with my friends that day. After that I went to meet my relatives and had a lot of fun too. So, this locket reminds me of that day when I feel sad and makes me happy. This locket helps me to remember how much fun I had in my country Nepal. After I came to New York, this place was very new and I did not have friends but this locket was only one thing which reminds me of my friends, family and relatives who are living in Nepal. So, this locket help me to know that life can be sometimes sad and hard but you have to learn how to make life full of fun and happiness even though you are far from home, friends, family and relatives.
