Bear Claw Necklace

My object is a bear claw necklace. It was made and given to me from my grandmother 7 years ago for my birthday. My grandmother is part of the Lakota and through that had it blessed. Thus, the necklace itself is both for gift and protection. It also reminds me of my grandmother, for the bear is a healer like her. I will probably have it for the rest of my life, even if I don’t wear it, to remember her by. The necklace resembles a bear. The bear is both healer and warrior which is supposed to be captured in the necklace, to both heal and protect. It is made up beads and obviously, a bear claw.
